6th edition of the FEDORA Prizes 

On February 3rd, the FEDORA Prizes 2020 Shortlist will be announced and the voting phase will start! During 4 weeks the general public can vote online for their favorite opera, ballet, education or digital projects. 

Where can I see the Shortlist?

Selected projects will be announced on www.fedora-platform.com/competition/shortlist. In order to follow the prizes competition and vote for your favorite projects please follow FEDORA Platform's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin) and subscribe to our newsletter. 

What are the Shortlist categories and the prize amounts? 

FEDORA has established four Prizes: the FEDORA Prize for Opera (€ 150.000), the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet (€ 100.000), the FEDORA Education Prize (€ 50.000) and the FEDORA Digital Prize (€50.000). 

These Prizes are awarded to promising artists and teams of co-producing cultural institutions who collaborate on the creation of new opera or ballet productions to reach out to new and wider audiences as well as educational and digital projects in these fields.   

The FEDORA Prizes are made possible thanks to the support of : Generali Group, Van Cleef & ArpelsKearney and a private foundation.  

How can I vote for a project?

By creating your account on the FEDORA Platform, you can vote for your favorite projects as you want until February 28th, 12 pm (GMT+1 ).

What happens afterwards? 

On March 2nd, we will announce the nominees that have been selected by our expert jury. Moreover, the projects that have received the highest number of votes in each category during the voting phase will become the Public Nominees and will stay in the competition for the Nominee Phase. All Nominees will have the opportunity to run crowdfunding campaigns in spring on the FEDORA Platform in order to raise additional funds to realize their projects. The winners will be announced in June.
